I opened the cupboard where all different kinds of coffee and “almost coffee” in our apartment reside. My ground coffee bowl was empty. I totally forgot that I needed to buy it. For the first time in my life, I took fancy grains for the coffee machine and a little coffee grinder - to grind the coffee. I got that little grinder for 15 euros - I remember clearly because it was very inexpensive for a Bosch appliance - some 6 or 7 years ago. Its main and sole purpose until Thursday morning was to grind flax seeds for my anti-migraine regime and peanuts for Asian dishes that I like to make. I quickly cleaned it from the nutty dust and poured the coffee beans in.
